We release account and other information about you when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, a judicial proceeding, court order, or other legal process, such as in response to a subpoena; to enforce or apply our Terms of Use, this Policy, and other agreements; to protect our rights, safety, or property, our users, and others; as evidence in litigation in which we are involved; when appropriate to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, or situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person. Does Deckers Share the Information It Collects About You?

We may share the information that we collect about you, with third parties worldwide, as follows:

• Service Providers/Agents. We disclose your information to third parties, including service providers, independent contractors, and affiliates that perform functions on our behalf. Examples include: fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail and email, removing repetitive information from customers lists, analyzing data, providing marketing and advertising assistance, third party advertising and analytics companies who collect browsing information and profiling information and who can provide advertisements which are tailored to your interests, providing search results and links (including paid listings and links), and credit card links. We only provide these entities with the information necessary for them to perform these services and functions on our behalf. These entities are contractually required to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
• Trading Partners. Our product lines are offered internationally in conjunction with select international trading partners. Our trading partners’ use of your personal information is subject to this Policy.

• Non-Affiliated Third Parties. We do not share your personal information with non-affiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Your Rights

You may only exercise each right up to two times in any twelve (12) month period. To exercise more than one right or to submit more than one email address, please submit each request individually. If you submit multiple requests, we cannot guarantee the order in which your requests will be processed:

• Right to Know: You have the right to know what categories of personal information we collected in the preceding twelve (12) months, including the categories of sources from which the personal information was collected, the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, and the business or commercial purposes for which such personal information was collected and shared. You also have the right to know the categories of personal information which were disclosed for business purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we shared your personal information in the preceding twelve (12) months.

  Include “Right to Know Under CCPA” in the subject of the email and
  Please include sufficient personal information for us to locate your records and to verify the identity affiliated with your account. At a minimum, you must provide the full name and email address affiliated with your account. We may request additional information to complete the verification process if we are unable to verify your identity initially. Our ability to locate your personal information is limited by the accuracy and the completeness of the information that you provide.
• Right to Access: You have the right to receive the personal information that you gave us. The information that we will provide to you will be masked, meaning that portions of it will be omitted so that it can’t be used fraudulently. For example, your telephone number may display as (123)-XXX-XX567. In order to exercise your right to access, you may call 866-998-7826 or email us at privacy@deckers.com and follow these instructions:
  Write to us from the email address that is affiliated with your account and include “Right to Access Personal Information Under CCPA” in the subject of the email or written request; and
  Please include sufficient personal information for us to locate your records and to verify the identity affiliated with your account. At a minimum, you must provide the full name and email address affiliated with your account. We may request additional information to complete the verification process if we are unable to verify your identity initially. Our ability to locate your personal information is limited by the accuracy and the completeness of the information that you provide. For example, if you use multiple email addresses and you include only one in your request, we may only locate the information associated with the email address that you included in the request.
• Deletion: You can request to have your personal information deleted from our systems and we will ask our service providers to do the same.
  Consequences of Deletion: Please note that if we delete your personal information, many of our Services will not work the same. For example, you will no longer be able to make an unreceipted return, you will lose your loyalty account and points, and you will not have an account (because any prior login information and saved transaction data will be deleted) and so your shopping cart items and save addresses and other information will no longer be available. If you make multiple requests under this section, we recommend sending your deletion request last, as we will not be able to fulfill your other requests once we have deleted your information.
  Exceptions: We may not be able to fulfill your request if we (or our service providers) are required to retain your personal information for one or more of the following reasons:
  Transactional: to complete a transaction for which the personal information was collected, provide a good or service requested by you, or perform a contract we have with you;

  In the subject of you request, please write “Right to Deletion Under CCPA”;
  Please include sufficient personal information for us to locate your records and to verify the identity affiliated with your account. We may request additional information to complete the verification process if we are unable to verify your identity initially. Our ability to locate your personal information is limited by the accuracy and the completeness of the information that you provide. For example, if you use multiple email addresses and you include only one in your request, we may only delete the email address that you included in the request.
• Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights under CCPA and we will not deny you good or services, charge you a different price, or provide you with a lesser quality of goods or services if you exercise any of your rights.

We may convert your email address into a unique value which can be matched by our partner company with a user on their platform to allow us to serve you interest-based advertising to those matched users. What About Third-Party Advertisers?

We use third parties such as network advertisers and other third parties to assist us in advertising, including displaying our advertisements on other websites and through social media platforms; we also may use network advertisers and other third parties to assist us in identifying relevant advertising on our Sites. Network advertisers are third parties that display advertisements based on your visits to our Site as well as other websites. This enables us and these third parties to target advertisements by displaying ads for products and services in which you might be interested. Third party ad network providers, advertisers, sponsors and/or traffic measurement services may use cookies, JavaScript, web beacons (including clear GIFs), Flash LSOs and other technologies to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content to you. How Long Does Deckers Retain my Information?

Your personal information will be deleted when it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

Your information that we need to manage you as our customer will be kept for as long as you are our customer. When you wish to terminate your account, your data will be erased accordingly, unless otherwise required by applicable law. We may have to retain some transactional information for evidentiary purposes according to applicable law.

We will keep consumers information that we use for prospection purposes for no more than [3 years] starting from the date of the last contact originating from the prospect or the end of the business relationship.

We refrain from keeping data collected through cookies and other trackers for more than [13 months] without renewing our notice and or obtaining your consent as the case may be.

Some other data are only kept for the time necessary to provide you with the relevant features of our websites or apps. For example, your geolocation data will not be kept beyond the time strictly necessary to identify your closest store or that you were present at a specific location at a given time, the body measurements you provide will only be processed during the time necessary to answer your relevant search and provide you with a relevant product reference.
